Genesis

Kendriya Vidyalaya Loktak was established in the year 1979 and in 2004 we proudly celebrated the SILVER JUBLEE of its establishment.

Under the Chairmanship of Mr. M.K.Madhavan (Chief Engineer NHPC & Chairman VMC) & Mr. A.K. Pathak, First Principal the Vidyalaya started functioning upto class X and now it has grown into a full fledged Vidyalaya offering Science and Arts Streams in class XII. It is co-educational school with English and Hindi as the medium of instruction and affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi.
