Scouts and Guides is an integral part of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and followed very religiously in every KV. All activities in Scouts and Guides are based on four pillars – Character training, Health & Strength, Skill development and Service to others.
The purpose of the Scouts and Guides is to contribute to the development of students in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual potentials as individuals, responsible citizens and as the members of the local, national and international community.
Kendriya Vidyalaya NHPC Loktak started Scouts & Guides movement in 1981. 32 Scouts and 33 Guides are the currently registered active members in the unit. And 24 Cubs and 24 Bulbuls are also registered active members in the unit.
Kendriya Vidyalaya NHPC Loktak Scouts & Guides wing has 1 Scout Master having undergone Advanced Training , 2 Guide Captains having undergone Advanced Training , 1 Cub Master having undergone Advanced Training and 1 Cub Master having undergone Basic Training.
